Shirakawago, Takayama and Tsumago Close up

We took the bullet train "JR Nozomi 214" in the Kyoto train station bound for Nagoya. In Shirakawago, declared World Heritage by UNESCO visited the traditional houses "Gasso-zukuri". In typical street we walk Takayama "Kami-Sannomachi". Driving along the ancient road Nakasendo got to Tsumago where we show the interior of the hostelry of samurais "Waki Honjin". Back to Nagoya we boarded the bullet train "JR Hikari 524" towards Odawara.

 

Tomamos el tren bala "JR Nozomi 214" en la estación de tren de Kyoto con destino a Nagoya. En Shirakawago, declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO visitamos las tradicionales casas "Gasso-zukuri". En Takayama recorremos la típica calle "Kami-Sannomachi". Circulando por la ancestral carretera Nakasendo llegamos a Tsumago, donde nos muestran el interior de la hospedería de los samurais "Waki Honjin". De regreso a Nagoya subimos al tren bala "JR Hikari 524" en dirección a Odawara.

Kyoto Close Up (De Cerca) Parte 2

We left by train from JR Kyoto Station Arashiyama direction. There we see the bamboo forest, the wonderful gardens Tenriu-Ji Temple in the rain and crossed the bridge Togetsu-Kyo. Back to the center of Kyoto visited the Higashi-Honganji and Nishi-Honganji temple. In the afternoon, again by train, we visit the impressive Fushimi Inari shrine, with its hundreds of Tories. Back in Kyoto we said goodbye to the Kyoto Tower.
Salimos en tren desde la estación JR de Kyoto en dirección a Arashiyama. Alli vemos el Bosque de Bambú, los maravillosos jardines del Templo Tenriu-Ji y atravesamos bajo la lluvia el puente en Togetsu-Kyo. De regreso al centro de Kyoto visitamos los templos Higashi-Honganji y Nishi-Honganji. Por la tarde, de nuevo en tren, visitamos el impresionante santuario Fushimi Inari, con sus cientos de toris. De vuelta en Kyoto nos despedimos de la Torre de Kyoto.

Kyoto Close Up (De Cerca) Parte 1

We visited the beautiful city of Kyoto in Japan, the birthplace of elusive Geishas. Stunning gardens in the Shinto Heian Shrine, the Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion) and Nijo Castle. Cherry blossom (Sakura) at night with us in the Gion district and day Philosopher's Walk. 

Visitamos la maravillosa ciudad de Kyoto en Japón, cuna de las huidizas Geishas. Impresionantes jardines en el Santuario sintoista de Heian, el Templo Kinkakuji (Pabellón Dorado) y el Castillo de Nijo. Los cerezos en flor (Sakura) nos acompañan de noche en el barrio de Gion y de día en el Paseo de los Filósofos.
